Georgette Rankin

Ms. Georgette Wilder Rankin was born in Newark, NJ on November 19, 1954, to the late Pastor Dorothy Clavon Fleming and Daniel George Wilder. She was raised throughout her life by her step-father Minister Samuel Fleming. She was preceded in death by her parents. Georgette departed her earthly life and entered into eternal rest on July 16, 2024. Georgette was affectionately known to her family and friends as “Ette.” She received her primary and secondary education in the Timmonsville Public School System. Upon graduation from Timmonsville High School in 1977, she furthered her education by attending Florence Darlington Technical College in Florence, S.C. where she studied briefly. Georgette was employed in various businesses during her life; most notably Marita Bakery and Babcock Home Healthcare Center. She was always known to her employers as a dedicated worker that would often work multiple jobs to ensure her children were well taken care of. Her religious upbringing was brought up in the Zion Temple Holiness Church Family in Timmonsville, SC. Later in life she transitioned to Shiloh Temple Holiness Church under the leadership of her mother Pastor Dorothy Fleming. She leaves to cherish in her memories her three children Tony Eaddy (Pia) of Atlanta, GA; Darak Eaddy (Creshel) of Florence, SC, and Chad Eaddy (Ashley) of Bonner Springs, KS. She has eleven grandchildren Sabrina Cobb of Columbia, SC; Chelsea Eaddy, Tony Eaddy Jr. of Atlanta, GA; Malik Eaddy, Tyler Eaddy of Charleston, SC; Cristopher Jhon Quino, Anson Eaddy of Cebu City, Philippines; Chad “CJ” Eaddy Jr. of Bonner Springs, KS, Aavielle Eaddy of Cebu City, Philippines, and Cali Eaddy of Bonner Springs, KS. She also leaves one great-grandchild Isabella Eaddy of Charleston, SC. Also cherishing behind her siblings Alphonso Wilder of New York, Patricia Nelson of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Shirley Green, Catherine Savage, Shirley Stuckey, Dorothy Simon all of Florence, SC, Retha Clark of Sumter, SC; three aunts Eloise Fleming, Edna Toney (Ashley)and Cynthia Green (Willie), six nieces and seven nephews, and a host of other family, loved ones, co-workers, and friends. She also leaves a Special Friend – Ms. Jesse Marie Hickson.
