Gloria Ann Wells

Gloria Wells was unexpectedly called home to be with the Lord on August 11, 2023, at her home in Shiloh, South Carolina. Her family is deeply sadden of her sudden passing. Gloria was born in Lee County on September 05, 1961, to the late Clifton and Lillie Mae Wells. Gloria was affiliated with Gethsemane Apostolic Church in Lynchburg South Carolina, Pastor Bishop McNeil. Gloria was a 1979 Graduate of Mount Pleasant High School. Shortly after graduating from high school, Gloria became a police officer for the town of Lynchburg in Lee County for a few years. She later moved to Miami, Florida, where she was employed with Disability and Special Needs for several years until she moved back home. She then worked as a seamstress and cook for many years until she became disabled. Gloria was outgoing and a very loving person. She had a heart of gold, very affectionate and full of life. She just love people and will offer help to anyone she could and, loved doing it. She enjoy taking care of people and making a difference in their lives. You would never hear her speak negative about anyone. She loved her grandkids dearly. She was very much loved by her Family and friends. In addition to her parents, Gloria was proceeded in death by three sisters; Hellen Craig of Washington, D.C., Mary Wells of Lynchburg S.C., and Dorthy Griffin of Miami, Florida and, one brother, John Evans of Maryland. Left to cherish Gloria's precious memories; one daughter Precious ( Friend- Charles Nelson Jr.) Wells of Florence S.C.; one son Damian ( Friend, Brittany Washington) Wells of Sumter S.C.; three grand kids, Demondre Wells, T'liah Wells and Na'miana Lloyd; two sisters, Rose Wells of Florence S.C., and Mary (Howard) Jenkins of Columbia S.C.; one brother, Clifton Wells Jr. of Washington D.C.; one brother in-law, James Harrell of Lynchburg S.C.; five aunts, Rosa Bell Wells, Corrine Parrott, Mary Alice (Thomas) Brown, Shirley Jean Parrott and Lillie Parrott; one uncle, Bob (Christine) Parrott Sr.; two special nephews, Demetrius Gamble and Tieya Harry Jr.; a devoted close friend, Ellen McGill Generette; one uncle; a host of nieces and nephews and friends.
