Jeremaih Elijah Coleman

March 4, 2022

On September 23, 1980 Jeremiah Elijah Coleman was the baby boy born to the late Wesley and Alta Hearon Coleman. He transitioned on March 4, 2022. During his earthly time here on earth he accomplished many things such as graduating from Timmonsville high school class of 1998, later he was recruited by Texas State to play basketball, as time went on in 2005 and 2006 he was so good at his skills that Kentucky Wesleyan recruited him to play basketball. He was well known across Texas and abroad many states to even being asked to play semi professional basketball overseas. Jeremiah was such a talented man, he also had the gift to draw as well. Many that knew him loved him for his funny sense of humor. When you saw him his favorite saying would be “love is in the building” or “love is in your face”. He was a 6” 7 gentle giant that loved his music and his family. He will truly be missed by many. Jeremiah leaves to cherish his precious memories: a daughter Shamya Brown of Midland Texas; his siblings, Laura (Tommy)Coleman Belle of North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, James Thompson of Whiteville, North Carolina, Steven Thompson of Fayetteville, North Carolina, and a special brother/ cousin Patrick Small of Timmonsville, South Carolina; a goddaughter Malaisa Rose of Timmonsville, South Carolina; four aunts, Pastor Claudia (James) Askins, Maxine Morris, and Tina H. Dixon all of Timmonsville, South Carolina and Anna Lee Jeffrey of Lamar, South Carolina; three uncles, Henry Herron of Darlington, South Carolina, Jake Hart of Orangeburg, South Carolina, and Jimmy McKnight, Sr. of Florence, South Carolina; special nieces Shyrea and Jasmine Thompson, Zaria Belle and Cyerra Belle; special nephews Zyon Belle, Zyer Belle and Quiozelle Thompson; special cousins, Elizabeth Askins, Emily Askins, Jimmy McKnight, Jr., James Smalls, Zeke Morris, Zack Morris, Lisa Hearon and Brandon Dixon; close friends, Randy Moses and Travis Gibson, both of Timmonsville, South Carolina; many other friends and family that adored him.
