Kenneth Gamble

MR. KENNETH GAMBLE departed this earthly life Tuesday, April 26, 2022, passing away peacefully at his residence. He was born April 18, 1961, in Kingstree, South Carolina, a son of the late Oyster “Bank” and Ethel Nelson Gamble. Kenneth was known to his family as a kind-hearted man that loved to make everyone laugh. He had a passion for singing and playing his guitar and was very honest about the sound of good music. Kenneth never complained about anything. Even during his sickness, he had a good spirit. Kenneth received his formal education at the Kingstree High School. He was employed at Firestone for 17 years. In 2008, he moved to Lamar, SC and was employed at Lowes, Darlington Highway Department, Mashack Nursery, and Omnipresent Adult Daycare as a driver. Those preceding him in death are four brothers: Mack Gamble, Leroy Gamble, Levern Gamble, and Moses Gamble; one sister Ethal Mae-Green; two daughters, Canitra Gamble and Sophia Gamble. Those left to cherish his memories are his loving wife Edell Gamble; his daughters Alexis and Cassandra Gamble; six stepchildren, Frederick Goodman, Zachary McClain, Lashay McClain, Sammica McClain, John Goodman, Joshua Goodman; his sister Mrs. Viola Brown (Calvin) of Rochester, NY; three brothers Mr. Alfred Gamble (Gennie) of Kingstree, SC, Mr. Oneal Gamble of Salters, SC, and Mr. John Henry Gamble (Carolyn) of Marietta, GA; and two uncles; five aunts; along with a host of nephews, nieces, grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and great friends.
