She was a daughter of Azalee Ervin of Lynchburg, SC and the late Mr. Charles McElveen. She was born September 24,1977 and departed this earthly life Friday, October 1, 2021. Sister Dixon was a graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School, Class of 1995, Morris College in 2000 and Florence – Darlington Technical College in 2005. She was employed with Assurant in Florence SC. At an early age, she joined Green Bay Missionary Baptist Church and was a dedicated member of Macedonia Holiness Church . She served in many capacities. She was united in holy matrimony to the late Elder Perlie Dixon October 15, 2005. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother. Left to cherish loving memories are: her children, Duaneshia Dickey, Perlayja Dixon and Ja’Mescia Johnson of the home; her mother, Azalee Ervin; step-children, Christiana Dixon of Florence SC and Christopher Dixon of Charleston SC; one grandchild, Khali Rose of Florence SC; three god children, Kizarah Easterling of Timmonsville SC, Me’Irah Robinson of Lynchburg SC and Guy Walters Jr. of Newberry SC; two sisters, Lovetta (Robert) Ervin of Lynchburg SC and Diana Graham of Washington DC; two cousins raised as sisters, Tonya (Jerome) McElveen of Timmonsville SC, and Pamela (Richard) Robinson of Lychburg SC; mother – in – law, Sis. Rose Dixon Florence SC; two sisters – in –law, Eunice (Earl) Barr and Mary Frances (Bennie) Torian both of Florence SC; three brothers- in – law, Micheal Dixon of Florence SC, Eleto Dixon of Timmonsville SC, and Scott (Freebe) Dixon of Florence SC; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She will be deeply missed and her love and memories will live on forever in our hearts.
