Marshall Tumblin Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Mr. Marshall Tumblin was born July 8,1951, in Florence County South Carolina, the son of the late Robert Tumblin, Sr. and Pauline Tumblin. He departed this earthly life on July 20, 2022. Marshall was educated in the Florence County School System. He worked as a machine operator for W&S Underground for many years. He was a member of Steppingstone Holiness Church Inc., where he served as Trustee, a member of the male chorus and a dedicated bus driver. After retiring he started a Lawn Care Service where he gained numerous of clients. Marshall was well respected in the Timmonsville community. He took GREAT pride in whatever he did. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed. In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by one sister Ella Mae Rivers; five brothers, Willie King, Jesse King, John Tumblin, Franklin Tumblin and Robert Tumblin Jr. Mr. Tumblin leaves to cherish his memories: his wife of 51 years, Mary Tumblin; one son, Marlen (LaTonya)Tumblin of Darlington SC; one daughter, Marvett Tumblin of Timmonsville SC; children that were raised in the home, Twana (Steven) Willis of Columbia, SC, Nyana Bines and Tamarion Howard of Timmonsville, SC; two sisters Sena Pompey and Bertha Tumblin both of Timmonsville SC; one brother Eddie Tumblin of Timmonsville SC; four sisters In-law, Sylvia Tumblin, Gertelina (Bat) Williams, Prophetess Essie Hudson and Barbara Hudson; three brothers In-law Bishop James Hudson, Isom Hudson and Alphonso Hudson of Timmonsville SC; grandsons, Michael ( Nicole) Graham, Mardregus (Abby) Tumblin, Michael Brown Jr, and Gerret Willis ; one granddaughter, Ikeyanah Scott; nine great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends; a very devoted friend/nephew James Rich and church members that loved him so.
