Mrs. Maxine Dukes Wade was born on September 20th, 1954, in Florence County to the late Maxie L. Dukes and Jessie Mae Taylor Price Dukes. Maxine retired from labor to reward on April 9, 2022. Mrs. Maxine was joined in holy matrimony to Douglas Wade on October 3, 1981, in Timmonsville, South Carolina. She was blessed with three children. Mrs. Maxine accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church of Timmonsville. She loved church. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her passing leaves a void in her loving family that can never be filled again. Maxine leaves to cherish her memory: one son, Dino Wade of Timmonsville South Carolina; two daughters, Kimberly Dukes Jackson, of Timmonsville South Carolina and Wendy K. Wade, of Greenville, South Carolina; a bonus daughter, Kelly A. Jones, of Greenville, South Carolina; two brothers, Elder Frank (Martha )Dukes, and Jeffrey Dukes, both of Timmonsville, South Carolina; seven sisters, Barbara a Duke Jones, Florence, South Carolina, Daisy Dukes, of Bennettsville, South Carolina, Patricia Dukes Tucker, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Laura (Ed Lee) Dickerson, of Paterson NJ, Alfreda Dukes, of Alpharetta, Georgia, Pamela Dukes and Sandra Dukes both of Florence, South Carolina; one aunt Maella Virginia Cooper of Florence, South Carolina; 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; a host of nieces nephews cousins and friends.
