Mr. Nathaniel Kirkland

Mr. Nathaniel Kirkland was born June 9, 1928 to the late Ada and Edmond Kirkland. He departed his earthly life on January 17,2020 Nathaniel attended the public schools of Darlington County, South Carolina. He was employed by Dargan and Shaw Construction for over 50 years. He was an excellent provider and hard worker. Nathaniel served as Chairman of the Trustee Board for many years at Mary Magdalene Freewill Baptist Church. He was a member of David Temple #45 Masonic Lodge. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Geneva Kirkland and his late wife, Juanita Shaw Durant Kirkland. He leaves to cherish his precious memories: five children, Clarence Fullard of Florence S.C., Elois Rose of Winter Haven, FL., Luvenia (Boyzelle), Madgaline McCullough of Lamar, SC, and Kinsey Durant of Darlington, SC; he raised his oldest grandson, Bobby Lee (Darlene) Durant, as his own son; twenty grandchildren; forty-four great grandchildren; nineteen great -great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
