Mrs. Ruben Renee Beard Quillen affectionately known as “Mombo” to her family and friends was born on January 17, 1964 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Ruben and Azalene Walden Beard in Florence County. “Mombo “entered into eternal rest on Saturday, December 26, 2020. “Mombo” was educated in the public schools of Florence County. She enjoyed gardening, trucking, and fishing. She was a member of Chaney Grove Baptist Church. She was married to Alrayzell Quillen for 41 years to which this Union was blessed with two sons. She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband Alrayzell Quillen of the home; two sons, Jerryco (Oshunda) Quillen and Alwayne (Kimberly) Quillen both of Florence, South Carolina; three grandchildren, Alaya, Jeremiah, and Josiah all of Florence, South Carolina; one sister, Mertice Beard of Florence, South Carolina; one brother, John Beard of Timmonsville, South Carolina; three aunts, Mae Alice (John Lee) Davis, Mozelle Williams, and Helen (Lewis) Carr all of Louisville, Georgia; two uncles, Larmar (Annie) Walden of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and David Walden of Augusta, Georgia; three sisters-in-law, Lennet Eaddy, Iola (Levern) Eaddy and Edith Quillen all of Timmonsville, South Carolina; two brothers-in-law, Lonza Quillen and James (Mary) Quillen both of Florence, South Carolina; caregiver Lisa Francis of Florence, South Carolina; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
