Herbert Charles Jackson Jr.

Herbert Charles Jackson Jr. of Timmonsville, South Carolina entered the world and began his journey on July 1,1954, in the Sally Hill community. He was born to the late Herbert Charles Jackson Sr. and the late Calestine Bennett Jackson. Herbert Jackson started his education in the South Carolina School District at Brockington Elementary school and went on to Johnson High School in Timmonsville, South Carolina. He graduated from Timmonsville High School (Whirlwinds) in 1972 . He was employed in his profession as a machinist. Herbert was preceded in death by his mother, Calestine Bennett Jackson; his father Herbert C. Jackson Sr., his beloved grandparents, James and Mary Bennett, and a loving aunt and uncle, Izora “Boonie” Bennett, and James “Son” Bennett. He was also preceded in death by his oldest sister, Patricia Brown (Carl) of New Jersey and brother, David Lee Jackson (Helen) of South Carolina. He leaves to cherish his memories: his beloved wife, Annette Peoples Jackson; his children were his pride and joy, two daughters, Crystal Brunson (Russell Brunson) of Illinois and Danielle Hines of California; three sons, Herbert C. Jackson (Kenyon Jackson), Antwan Jackson (Teenia Teels-Jackson), and Jamal Brown of Florida; his grandchildren were also his pride and joy, Oceanna Jackson, Dymond Gipson, Sarah Brunson, Khairi Jackson, Sanaiyah Teel, Essence Brunson, Ashton Brown, Khari Jackson, Kenaz Jackson, Nyari Jackson, Briana Clark, Devin Kilpatrick Jr., Chase Sabari, Trinity Sabari, Kennedi- Dior Hines and (Hayden Hines-preceded in death); three sisters, Pamela Jackson of SC, Terry Denise Jackson (Lewis) of Philadelphia and Alesa Pelote (Mark Tagtmeyer) of SC; one brother, Reverend Henry Dixon (Pamela Dixon) of SC; several nieces; April Whack, Jillian Davis,Tanisha Muhammad, Lynette Brown, Maria Brown, Deidria Jackson, India Gurley, Eiketra Taylor, and Tammy Dixon Moses ; several nephews, Roderick Godfrey, Maurice Davis, Andrew Davis, Darin Ellerbe, Reggie Gee, Louis Jackson, Henry “Jamie” Dixon (Firstlady Devonne) Jerome Dargan, Shawn Muldrow, and Dominique Hines; He loved his god-daughter and god-son, Shondia McFadden Sabari (Wali), and Jerrod McCormick; Aunt Dorthy Mcelveen; a special friend, Donna Cribb and her mother, Isabell Gerald of Florence.
